About this product

The natural product sisal, a sturdy fibre derived from the agave plant, is at the heart of the Marqueterie collection. The naturally woven pieces of sisal are cut and laid by hand in different patterns. The artisanal inlay work pushes out striking geometric figures. Both the different directions of the weave and the colours create a lot of depth and texture in this 100% handmade wallcovering. Depending on the light and viewpoint, a subtle sheen emerges.

This geometric pattern plays with optical trickery; one person sees triangles, the other squares. The woven sisal appears horizontally, vertically, rising diagonally and falling diagonally. Thanks to these four directions, different geometric figures and colour nuances appear.
